An educational ministry of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, St. Catherine of Siena School places emphasis on providing a religious foundation for all students. We ask God to bless our work and we, as a community, recognize the importance of both formal and informal prayer. Sacramental preparation is done in conjunction with the parish’s Religious Faith Formation Program.
The Religion curriculum challenges students to participate in worship, to act as a community, and to realize that each person deserves love and respect. It allows students to apply the truths and skills they learn in day-to-day living in their words and actions. Students study scripture, learn Catholic tradition and doctrine, and to study and prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Through our Religion curriculum and our Student Learning Expectations students to respond to the needs of others, to live peacefully and justly, and to care for creation as God’s stewards.
